Starting a school garden - Saturday, February 9, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.   Register by 2/4.   This workshop is for you if:
  • You are thinking about starting a school garden program.
  • You started a school garden last fall now know all of the questions you should have asked earlier?
  • You started a school garden at your school and are looking to network with others?

Planting with a Purpose Saturday, March 9 th, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Register by 3/4.   This workshop is for you if:

  • You are a teacher and want to learn how to use a garden as a teaching tool?
  • You are a volunteer and would like to learn how to lead a class in the gardens?
  • You would like to learn how to use our lesson plans and garden calendar to create a program that works for your school?

 

Registration deadline: February 4th

A soup and salad lunch will be provided.

We learned from previous workshops that no matter the stated topic, each attracts school garden developers and educators in different stages of development. So, we plan a general agenda for each workshop with the details defined by a pre-workshop questionnaire that helps identify this particular group’s needs.
