Literature Connections

Literature connections focus a writing exercise outside, or introduce garden, plant, or food topics on a day when poor weather keeps you inside.  Books can be used to teach a topic, study a plant or animal, or model a creative writing or poetry assignment.  Or, just take your class to the gardens to inspire a topic for creative writing or poetry.
